Jose Mourinho won’t take no for an answer from Antoine Griezmann.
According to a report in the Manchester Evening News the United boss is interested in signing Griezmann and his Atletico Madrid team-mate Saul Niguez.
The French striker is valued in the £80m bracket and recently reacted angrily to being questioned about leaving Atletico.
Griezmann had an outstanding tournament at Euro 16 and is expected to move on in the summer.
The striker however has been lavishing praise on the lifestyle that he enjoys in the Spanish capital which may be vastly different to life in the north west of England.
A move across the city to Real would be full of problems and complications with Mourinho happy to offer the Atletico directors an alternative to that prospect.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic well into his thirties United are anxious to have alternatives available to step in to maintain or improve on the Swede’s scoring record.
