Manchester City are the latest club to be linked to Jack Wilshere.
According to a report in The Sun Pep Guardiola has been a fan of the midfielder since facing Arsenal back in 2011.
Wilshere is attracting attention while out on loan at Bournemouth and will return to Arsenal at the end of the season with 12 months left on his contract.
The midfielder will then be in control of negotiations with Guardiola ready to hand Arsenal a massive cheque if they are unable to sort out a new deal.
Wilshere was sent out on loan to prove his fitness with Arsene Wenger happy with his midfield options at The Emirates.
Having proved his fitness at Bournemouth, Wenger has to prove to the midfielder that his career is best served at Arsenal with Manchester City, Everton and others showing interest in the England midfielder.
At 25-years-of-age Wilshere’s next contract will be the most important of his career.
