Marouane Fellaini is hoping to arrange an Italian getaway to end his Manchester United career.
According to a report in The Mail the Belgian midfielder has discussed a move to Serie A and is confident of securing a move to either of the Milan sides.
The 29-year-old is in the final 18 months of his contract with United informing the former Everton man that there won’t be another offer on the table.
Fellaini has never been a favourite of the Manchester United support who have taken to booing him recently whenever he has made an appearance.
Despite being indentified as a David Moyes signing both Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho have had no reservations about picking the 29-year-old.
With 18 months left on his contract United won’t entertain a loan deal in January and could accept an offer of around £20m to secure Fellaini’s departure and remove his £120,000/week wages from the club.
