Tottenham are the latest club to be linked with Atalanta’s Franck Kessie.
According to a report on the respected Italian website Calciomercato, Tottenham have declared their interest in the midfielder who has just turned 20.
Kessie has been getting rave reviews for his performances in the Atalanta midfield with the club from Bergamo riding high in Serie A.
Those performances have alerted clubs in the top part of the Premier League with the report claiming that Spurs have offered £23m.
That sort of figure has forced Juventus out of the bidding with the Serie A leaders refusing to go beyond £20m for a player in his first season of top flight football.
Spurs are keen to add attacking options to their side to ease the burden on Harry Kane, so far this season Kessie has scored five goals from 15 Serie A appearances.
Chelsea and Arsenal have recently been linked with the Ivory Coast international with interest from Manchester United and Liverpool reported earlier in the season.
