Liverpool have been linked with a January move for Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol, of Inter Milan.
According to a report in The Mirror the Italian side are prepared to let the Brazilian striker move on next month.
Gabigol was a £25m signing from Santos in the summer but has failed to live upto his nickname making just three appearances so far for Inter.
New Inter boss Stefano Pioli is reviewing his whole squad and isn’t convinced that the Brazilian is ready to make a contribution to his plans.
In Italy Liverpool have been linked with a move for the 20-year-old but if he is on his way to Anfield it would almost certainly be on a loan deal.
Jurgen Klopp is wary of Daniel Sturridge’s situation and the possibility of losing the England striker during January.
If that was to happen then Gabigol could come under consideration for a move for a short term move to Anfield.
