Cesc Fabregas is a summer target for AC Milan.
According to a report in The Sun the Chelsea man will be part of a £300m investment in the Italian giants who have recently fallen on hard times.
The investment package is expected to be completed in March with the club making early moves in preparation for the windfall.
Fabregas has slipped from favour under Antonio Conte who has preferred to pair Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante in the centre of the park.
The 29-year-old former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder is aware of lucrative offers to move to China but would prefer to play in Europe for as long as possible.
Fabregas proved his worth to Conte by scoring the only goal of the game away to Sunderland but unless he can regain his place in the Chelsea team the option to be a key figure at AC Milan will be difficult to resist.
