With the England Under-19 international side kicking off their Euro Qualifying campaign next week, young Aston Villa defender Easah Suliman has been named in Keith Downing’s squad.

Currently on loan with League Two side Cheltenham Town until January, the Robins’ official website reported the news with the young Three Lions facing Luxembourg on November 10th and then Wales to days after.

Rising up the age groups to make his England Under-19 debut against the Netherlands in August, the highly-promising Suliman has figured for the Three Lions’ Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 sides previously.

Yet to make his first team debut for the Villans, Suliman is currently benefiting from experience in the Football League although the 18-year-old would like to be starting more for Gary Johnson’s Robins right now.

Having made five League Two starts for Cheltenham Town so far this season, Suliman has been an unused substitute on six occasions in the fourth tier.

Also named in Downing’s England Under-19 party were Villans forwards Rushian Hepburn-Murphy and Andre Green.
