Celtic need to stick to their runners much more tightly

For Lars Stindl’s 32nd minute opener last night, it was Australian international Tom Rogic who was the guilty party in respect of not tracking his run.

As Celtic fans have frustratingly grown used to this term, the Hoops have often afforded opposition attackers too much space in the box and it came back to haunt them yet again last night.

On reflection, Gladbach were easily afforded more chances to put Celtic away shortly after Stindl’s opener and elsewhere, Stuart Armstrong sloppily conceded possession too.
