Leigh Griffiths’ absence costly
With Leigh Griffiths missing from Celtic’s travelling party last night, the Bhoys really missed the Scottish international who could’ve proved an influential impact sub in the second-half.
With Julian Korb seeing red in the 75th minute, Celtic had a glorious opportunity to make their advantage count while seizing back some initiative in Group C in the final 15 minutes but they didn’t take it.
Subbing on Patrick Roberts, Callum McGregor and Liam Henderson in the second-half, Brendan Rodgers really could’ve done with his second highest goalscorer Griffiths who has enjoyed a prolific goalscoring record in his career to date.
