Both failing to settle in their West Ham United careers so far, Valencia are not only interested in Simone Zaza this January but also Hammers team-mate Jonathan Calleri, report Sport Witness.

The La Liga outfit didn’t have enough time to replace Paco Alcacer who joined Barcelona in the summer and a report from Valencia-based source Super Deporte now claims Calleri is on Cesare Prandelli’s radar.

This is of course in addition to a previous report from CalcioMercato that recently claimed Zaza is very much a target for Los Che this winter with the Mestalla outfit struggling in fifteenth place in La Liga right now.

Only having scored 15 goals this term, striking reinforcements are a must for Prandelli this winter and while Zaza and Calleri haven’t hit it off in England, they appear viable options for the struggling La Liga giants.

The jury is still very much out on Zaza’s West Ham United future with the Italian international needing to make another five appearances to trigger an obligation that means the Hammers pay €20 million for his services.

An unused substitute in the Hammers’ most recent 1-1 draw against Stoke City, this move suggests Zaza could be left out in the cold by Slaven Bilic in the lead up to January.
