But if West Ham United really do want to get out of trouble and quick, perhaps tempting Liverpool into loaning Daniel Sturridge wouldn’t be the worst place to start in January.
Roberto Firmino is Jurgen Klopp’s first choice up top for Liverpool right now and with Sturridge playing a bit-part role, the England international won’t be happy with this status.
Sturridge would command a starting berth each and every week for West Ham United and at this peak stage of his career, he needs to be playing on a consistent basis.
