Paul-Georges Ntep to Southampton
With Claude Puel knowing the French market well of course, Southampton have been one of the sides credited with an interest in Paul-Georges Ntep of late.
The Rennes forward is out of contract at the end of the season wit the Daily Star claiming that it is likely the French club will cash in this January.
While Premier League big guns Arsenal and Liverpool are also both interested in Ntep, the 24-year-old must realise that he won’t receive so many chances at those clubs so Southampton seem a good fit for the striker.
Despite Nathan Redmond and Charlie Austin doing well so far this season, Saints could do with some more quality up top with Shane Long and Jay Rodriguez representing their alternative options.
