Yohan Cabaye to Southampton
Having already worked with Yohan Cabaye during his time managing Lille in France, Claude Puel knows the French international well.
Earlier this month, The Sun claimed 30-year-old Cabaye is a January target for Puel as he looks to add greater quality with plenty of games mounting up across multiple competitions.
While he’s started Crystal Palace’s last three Premier League fixtures, the former Newcastle United midfielder was in and out of the side prior to this and a reunion with former boss Puel could prove tempting for Cabaye.
The Sun’s report claims Saints could be ready to lodge an £8 million bid which if successful, would represent sensible business.
