Torino have approached Manchester City about extending Joe Hart’s loan deal into a second season.

According to a report in The Mirror the Italian side have been impressed by Hart’s attitude since switching to Serie A in the summer after being frozen out of Pep Guardiola’s plans at Manchester City.

Torino would love to make the deal permanent but couldn’t get close to matching the personal terms that Hart enjoys at City where he is under contract until 2019.

Under the current terms of the loan Torino are only paying 30% of Hart’s wages with the England keeper reportedly on net annual salary of £3.8m.

Unless Torino can make a significant contribution to Hart’s wages it’s likely that City will be looking for offers from elsewhere for the keeper.

With the World Cup coming up at the end of next season Hart will be keen to get his future sorted.

A permanent move is likely to be his preferred option but after settling quickly to life in the north of Italy a further season at Torino can’t be discounted if another deal can be done between the two clubs.
