Romelu Lukaku to Juventus
While these November reports didn’t explicitly suggest Romelu Lukaku is a January target for Juventus but rather somebody they’re keeping an eye on over the course of the next few years, we don’t think he’ll make that particular move.
The Belgian international has been vocal about his desire to play Champions League football in the past but with Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in their prime at Juventus, Lukaku surely wouldn’t want to spend time on the bench?
Lukaku should know more than most players about spending too much time on the bench at a top club, such as he did at Chelsea and we think that over the next couple of years, Lukaku will be wiser in his exit plans should he decide to leave Goodison Park.
After all, he’s remained on Merseyside when he might’ve left so far and that shows he values the regular first team football he’s receiving at present.
