Branislav Ivanovic is a surprise January transfer target for Juventus.
According to a report in The Telegraph the Italian giants are looking for a new right-back following injuries to Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci.
Ivanovic has dropped out of favour under Antonio Conte and has the bonus of being available to play in the Champions League with Juve looking forward to the last 16 draw next month.
The 32-year-old has been at Chelsea for eight seasons and has won all the major honours since his £9m move from Lokomotiv Moscow.
Getting another crack at the Champions League would appeal to Ivanovic but there are a number of factors to be considered should Chelsea decide to let him go.
Conte could be reluctant to let the defender go to his former club unless he has an adequate replacement lined up.
Ivanovic has started in six Premier League matches this season and made three substitute appearances.
