First blood to Manchester City in Mourinho vs Guardiola
In the test of who blinked first between old foes Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola, it was the Manchester United boss back in September.
With City running out 1-2 victors in arguably the biggest Premier League game of the season so far, it was a huge statement about what to expect from the noisy neighbours going forward.
While Mourinho had a lot to say about Mark Clattenburg’s performance following the full-time whistle, nobody coudl take away the scoreline and the fact that City had yet again managed to produce a victory at Old Trafford.
By default, a huge negative given the massive loss in confidence from the Red Devils who went on to lose at both Feyenoord and Watford thereafter.
