After starting the new Premier League season with three victories from three, Chelsea supporters quickly forgot about their forgettable 2015/16 campaign under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.
But fast forward to seven games played and all is not so rosy at Stamford Bridge with the Blues having lost big games to both Liverpool and Arsenal with defensive frailties uncharacteristically blighting the West London side.
After it initially appeared that Antonio Conte had really stamped his authority on this Blues side, it really appears as if Chelsea are still in transition with the Italian boss slowly introducing a 3-5-2 formation.
With several of Chelsea’s players still getting used to this system, it finally paid off for the Blues away at Hull City last time out with Conte’s side completely dominating that game against the Tigers.
But with Chelsea down in seventh place in the Premier League right now, the ever expectant Blues supporters will be hoping for a consistent string of results following the international break.
