No obvious plan B for Manchester United?

Essentially, Manchester United’s game plan went out of the window in 30 seconds.

We saw Jose Mourinho stamp his mark all over the Red Devils’ 0-0 draw at Liverpool on Monday night where the likes of Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly were tremendous in locking down the back line.

But breached within the first minute of this game at Stamford Bridge, United panicked and with Gary Cahill putting the Blues 2-0 up in just 21 minutes, there was no way Chelsea were going to let a two-goal lead slip.

United’s style of play has been a hot topic of conversation since Sir Alex Ferguson departed and despite boasting more than enough quality names out on the field, the fact there seems no obvious plan B in adversity seems alarming at the moment.
