Simon Mignolet
The big selection dilemma for Jurgen Klopp this evening is whether to persist with the distinctly average Simon Mignolet or replace him with new boy Loris Karius who would be making his Reds’ debut.
Former Liverpool stopper Chris Kirkland was outspoken this week, claiming Klopp should drop Mignolet for Karius as soon as possible but we can’t help feel that Mignolet will receive one more chance.
The fact of the matter is that this is a huge game and to throw Karius in at the deep end might prove a little unfair with Mignolet used to the back four so far this season, despite not covering himself in glory all of the time.
