He snubbed offers from both Liverpool and Napoli in the summer but the Reds should continue to keep tabs on AC Milan full back Mattia De Sciglio.
A versatile player who can perform at both left back and right back, the Italian international was believed to be holding out for a transfer to Juventus in the summer but remains at his one and only club to date.
AC Milan are fallen giants of European football of course and currently sixth in Serie A after winning three of their opening five games under Vincenzo Montella, it hasn’t been the worst start.
That said, if Liverpool continue to progress at the current rate the are experiencing under Jurgen Klopp, perhaps De Sciglio will be forced to think twice depending on exactly what Milan can achieve between now and January.
