Somebody who will always battle to the very last much like good captains should do, many Arsenal fans can picture Alexis with the armband but Arsene Wenger’s side actually need to tie the former Barcelona man down to a new deal first.
At the same time, Gooners need to question whether the captaincy would take anything away from the freedom of Alexis’ game because he’s been quite simply a wonderful signing for Arsenal so far.
