Not exactly a bold call, this, but Balotelli needs to be moved on.
From the very get-go the Italian looked a disastrous signing, with his cumbersome movement and questionable work-rate a million miles from the all-action style of Luis Suarez – whom he, sort of, replaced.
‘Balo’ looked okay on his debut when he started up front with Daniel Sturridge at Spurs, but the Englishman’s injury woes soon curtailed that partnership, and now he seems to be the forgotten man on Merseyside after being left out of Jurgen Klopp’s pre-season plans and two Premier League-opening games.
