According to reports from Globo Esporte, Juventus have warned Manchester City and Manchester United that they will have to pay €50million to sign in-demand left-back Alex Sandro.

The Brazil international has proved a revelation since moving to Turin last summer, notching up two goals and three assists in 18 Serie A appearances whilst averaging 1.5 tackles, 1.9 interceptions, 1.9 created chances and 1.9 successful dribbles per match.

That has seen the 25-year-old muscle defensive veteran Patrice Evra out of the Juve starting Xi and attract interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs – Manchester City and Manchester United are both believed to have tabled bids for Sandro this season and Globo Esporte document their interest once again.

But according to the Brazilian news outlet, Juventus have warned the Premier League duo that they value the six-cap international at a whopping €50million, almost doubling the transfer fee they paid FC Porto at the start of the season.

That converts to around £40million – which would be a Premier League record fee for a full-back.
