Wilfried Bony

According to reports from Mirror Football, Everton will consider a swoop for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony if they’re forced to sell Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The Belgium international is attracting heavy interest ahead of the summer transfer window, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich mooted as potential suitors by Mirror Football, and has made no secret of his desire to play at Champions League level.

Should Everton resultantly be forced to sell the £50million-rated striker, Mirror Football claim they’ll consider a transfer swoop for Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony, who has been identified as an ‘ideal’ replacement by Goodison gaffer Roberto Martinez.

The Ivory Coast international looks set to leave the Citizens during the summer transfer window, scoring just ten times during his 15 months at the Etihad, but remains highly thought of from his prior spell with Swansea City – bagging 34 goals in 70 appearances across all competitions for the Welsh outfit.
