According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are in ‘ongoing’ contract talks with prodigious winger Alex Iwobi; whilst talkSPORT claim Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez is a transfer target for Liverpool.
Mirror Football reported yesterday that the Nigerian international had signed a five-year contract at the Emirates, raising his wages to £30k per week. However, Sky Sports claim Iwobi is yet to finalise the deal, with talks between the winger and the north London club still ‘ongoing’.

The 19-year-old has shown glimpses of top-class ability since making his Arsenal debut in October, impressing against Barcelona in the Champions League and scoring in his last two appearances to help the Gunners claim convincing victories over Everton and Watford.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT – who cite reports from Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport – claim Liverpool are targeting Real Madrid youngster Lucas Vazquez, who has claimed one goal and four assists in just 810 minutes of La Liga action this season, ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old impressed on loan at Espanyol last season, notching up three goals and six assists in 34 league outings, but has found first-team opportunities limited since returning to the Bernabeu in summer 2015.
Jurgen Klopp is reportedly a big fan of the Spaniard, having earmarked him as a potential transfer target whilst in charge of Borussia Dortmund, and The Express claim it will require a £10million transfer bid to sign him this summer.
