According to reports from The Daily Mail, Manchester United are close to finalising a deal to beat Arsenal and Chelsea to Feyenoord youngster Tahith Chong.
The Netherlands U17 is rated as one of the Eredivisie’s most exciting academy players and has been tracked by Manchester United ever since impressing in the Premier Cup tournament, held at their Carrington training complex, at the start of last season.

Premier League rivals Chelsea are known to be targeting the prodigious attacking midfielder, whilst The Dail Mail also document transfer interest from Arsenal.
But according to The Daily Mail, the impressive cohort of academy products to have featured regularly under Louis van Gaal this season, such as Marcus Rashford and Timothy Fosu-Mensah, has helped assure Chong that a United transfer would be a wise step at this point in his career.
The Old Trafford outfit are now on the verge of finalising an official transfer for the 16-year-old.
