Leonardo Bonucci

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Juventus are open to selling Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United target Leonardo Bonucci during the summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old is on course to claim a fifth consecutive Serie A title with the Old Lady and has also represented Italy on 53 occasions, claiming a runner-up medal with Azzurri at Euro 2012.

The 6 foot 3 centre-back’s Turin contract doesn’t expire until 2020 but according to The Daily Mail, the Italian giants are open to selling during the coming transfer window should a suitor meet their £25million valuation.

The Daily Mail report on interest from Manchester City, who are allegedly planning to rebuild their shaky defence around the rugged centre-half this summer. The Citizens have conceded the second-most goals of any side in the Premier League’s top seven this season- 31 in 29 games.

But City are by no means alone in their pursuit of Bonucci. Chelsea have been linked in recent weeks, most notably since former Juve manager Antonio Conte became the front-runner for the Stamford Bridge hot seat, whilst Manchester United have been mooted as potential summer suitors as well.

The Red Devils are yet to find a long-term partner to Chris Smalling, with utility man Daley Blind filling the void for the majority of the season.
