According to reports from Fichajes, Liverpool striker Christian Benteke could complete a shock transfer to Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
The Belgium international signed for the Reds in a £32.5million deal last summer, becoming their second-most expensive transfer of all time after £35million flop Andy Carroll, but has managed just twelve Premier League starts this season – only seven of which have come during Jurgen Klopp’s six months in charge.

The Sun (amongst other sources) have recently tipped the Reds to offload the 6 foot 3 striker during the coming transfer window amid a summer clear out at Anfield, leading Spanish publication Fichajes to claim he could end up joining one of the Mersey outfit’s direct Premier League rivals.
They claim Arsenal is Benteke’s likeliest next destination amid the Gunners’ need for a dependable alternative to Olivier Giroud, but also document long-term interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United – who were both linked with the 25-year-old before his Anfield transfer.
Benteke may have struggled to impact at Liverpool but his Premier League credentials remain undoubted, previously netting 49 times across three seasons for a quality-depleted Aston Villa side who look set to plummet out of the top flight this season.
