A host of Premier League clubs were linked with the France U19 last month, most notably Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and table-toppers Leicester City. The Daily Star, who cite Get Football News France, document interest from Arsenal and Chelsea once again, whilst also mooting Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Southampton as potential suitors.
But admirers from the Premier League could soon find themselves overshadowed by European champions Barcelona, the most coveted side in world football, whose scouts watched Dembele net an incredible hat-trick during a 4-1 win over Nantes on Saturday.
With Schalke, Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus and AC Milan also allegedly expressing an interest, the transfer battle for Dembele’s signature is seriously hotting up.
