According to The Sun, West Ham are considering a sensational swoop for PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic; whilst Mirror Football report that Tottenham Hotspur are targeting Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne.

The enigmatic Swede, whose illustrious career has seen him claim twelve league titles, the 2012 Golden Foot and the 2013 Puskas award, is set to leave Parc de Princes on a free transfer this summer, leading to copious speculation over his future in recent weeks.

The 34-year-old has hinted at a move to the Premier League but The Sun claim Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are unlikely to offer him a contract this summer, paving the way for West Ham United to launch a shock swoop for the 6 foot 5 frontman.

The Hammers are keen to land a marquee signing ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium and Zlatan certainly fits the bill. Whether he’d fit into their wage structure, on the other hand, reportedly taking home around £12million per year at PSG, remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Mirror Football report that Tottenham Hotspur are chasing Napoli attacker Lorenzo Insigne, who measures in at just 5 foot 4.

The 24-year-old has been in superb form this season, bagging ten goals and eleven assists in 25 Serie A appearances – alongside one strike and one set-up in the Europa League – and looks set to feature for Italy at the summer’s European Championship.

Mauricio Pochettino will be given significant funds to spend this summer if the Lilywhites make it into the top four and the £18million-rated winger-forward is reportedly at the top of the Argentine gaffer’s wishlist.
