According to reports from Gazzetta World, Manchester United have launched a £22million transfer bid for Chelsea target Federico Bernardeschi.
The young winger was reportedly on the Red Devils’ radar whilst Sir Alex Ferguson at the helm and is amid a strong season with Fiorentina, particularly impressing in the Europa League.

Indeed, he’s scored four times in six European outings this term – including the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur last Thursday – whilst averaging 1.2 created chances, 1.8 shots and 1 accurate cross per match.
Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all been accredited with an interest in the 22-year-old by the Italian publication, with the Blues’ allegedly stemming from the potential arrival of Italy manager Antonio Conte during the summer transfer window.
But according to Gazzetta World, Manchester United have already launched a £22million bid for the Italy U21, putting them at the front of the queue for his signature. Fiorentina, however, rate Bernadeschi significantly higher at around £31million.
