Yaya Toure

According to The Telegraph, a move to China this summer would see Manchester City’s Yaya Toure earn £30million per year; whilst The Express report that Arsenal will loan out Serge Gnabry next week.

Pep Guardiola’s impending arrival at the Etihad has cast serious doubts over Toure’s future with the Citizens and earlier this week, outspoken agent Dimitri Seluk tipped the Ivory Coast midfielder to leave the club at the end of the season.

The Telegraph claim three Chinese Super League clubs have already expressed an interest in signing the 32-year-old, with one – believed to be Jiangsu Suning – prepared to pay him an incredible £30million salary after tax. That would make him the third-highest earner in world football, after Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, The Express report that Arsenal aim to loan out Serge Gnabry once the emergency loan window officially opens next week.

The 20-year-old registered just one Premier League appearance whilst on loan at West Brom during the first half of the season and Arsene Wenger resultantly recalled him to the Emirates during the final days of the January transfer window.

That saw Championship outfits Brighton, Charlton Athletic and Fulham inquire into his services on deadline day, but a deal couldn’t be reached before the winter window slammed shut at 11pm on Monday evening.

According to The Express, who cite Football Insider, Arsenal will resume negotiations with all three clubs once the emergency loan window opens next Tuesday.
