According to reports from The Daily Mail, Manchester City will swoop for Chelsea targets Paul Pogba and John Stones during the summer transfer window.

The duo are widely viewed as two of the most exciting youngsters in world football and were prominent figures on Chelsea’s radar last summer.

The Blues infamously saw a series of bids for Stones, the most lucrative believed to be worth £38million, rejected by Everton, whilst Pogba eventually decided against leaving Juventus.

Chelsea have been tipped to revive their interest in the England centre-back at the end of the season whilst The Daily Mail claim they’re still targeting the French powerhouse as well.

But Manchester City are reportedly looking to kick off the Pep Guardiola era at the Etihad with sensational swoops for both Blues targets – with Stones rated at £50million and Pogba a whopping £80million.

Chelsea have the financial firepower to match any offers from the Citizens, but their incoming manager offers major pulling power and the absence of Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season could be another factor.
