Jese

According to reports from The Express, manager Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to sign Arsenal and Chelsea target Jese from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old initially impressed when bursting onto the Bernabeu scene during the 2013/14 campaign, finishing up with eight goals in 31 appearances – the majority of which were as a substitute – across all competitions.

But the Spanish forward, who can operate as a striker or a wide man, has struggled to recover his prior form since tearing his ACL ligament in March 2014 – an injury that saw him sidelined for the next nine months.

Having clocked up just 458 minutes in La Liga this season, Jese looks set to leave the Bernabeu in the summer and The Express claim Arsenal and Chelsea are keen on bringing him to the Premier League.

But citing Spanish publication Sport, the British newspaper also report that manager Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to launch a summer bid for the former Spain U21. It’s believed Real Madrid are prepared to sell for around £23million – a figure well within the financial reach of all three Premier League clubs.
