According to The Sun, Liverpool are considering an £8million bid for Southampton’s Shane Long; whilst Whoscored report that Tottenham Hotspur have seen a £6million bid for Wissam Ben Yedder rejected by Toulouse.
The Ireland forward has claimed 38 goals in 191 appearances throughout his Premier League career, spanning spells with Reading, West Bromwich Albion, Hull City and Southampton.
And according to The Sun, Liverpool are now considering an £8million swoop to bring the Saints striker to Anfield following injuries to Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings and Divock Origi – whilst Christian Benteke has failed to convince manager Jurgen Klopp of a starring role.
