Europe’s top scorer misses training, fuelling Arsenal, Liverpool & Man United transfer talk

According to reports from Sky Sports, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United strike target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has fuelled speculation over his future at Borussia Dortmund by missing today’s training session. 

The Black-Yellows officially restarted first-team training today following the Bundesliga’s winter break and the Gabon international was a notable absentee, amid reports linking him with Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.

According to Sky Sports, a club spokesman said the 26-year-old missed today’s training session due to “personal reasons.”

But earlier this week, it was reported that the Gunners had sent an ‘intermediary’ to Westphalia to try and broker a deal for the £42million-rated striker, whilst Liverpool are believed to courting his services as wellLikewise, Manchester Evening News alleged this morning that Manchester United are ready to join the race for the 6 foot 2 front-man.

Aubameyang has scored the most goals of any player involved in Europe’s five leading top flights this season, netting 18 times in 17 Bundesliga appearances for Thomas Tuchel’s side, and has been mooted as an ideal fit for Premier League football for much of his Dortmund career.
