According to The Metro, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants to sign Juventus defender Daniele Rugani ‘at all costs’, whilst The Daily Star report that Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on Chelsea winger Pedro.

Arsenal saw a £13million bid rejected for the 21-year-old centre-back during the summer and have been linked with his services ever since. This Is Futbol last documented their interest in November.

That’s in no small part due to the Italy U21 seeing just three minutes’ worth of senior action for the Old Lady this season, despite making it into Serie A’s 2015 Team of the Year for his impressive showings with former club Empoli at the end of last term.

Manchester United and Napoli are also known admirers of the 6 foot 2 defender. But citing Italian publication TuttoSport, The Metro claim Gunners gaffer Arsene Wenger is now determined to sign Rugani ‘at all costs’.

Meanwhile, The Daily Star – citing Don Balon – claim Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on troubled Chelsea winger Pedro, who has struggled to make an impact since moving to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona during the summer.

The 28-year-old hasn’t found the net in the Premier League since August and bagged his first assist of the season just a matter of days ago in a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on Monday night.

But Pedro’s stock remains high in Spain from his many successful years at the Nou Camp, winning three Champions League titles with the Catalans prior to his £21million west London move. With Jose Mourinho now sacked, the Spain international could be open to returning to La Liga in January.
