According to reports from The Daily Mail this afternoon, Liverpool and Manchester United are ready to battle it out for the signature of teenage sensation Emre Mor.

The 18 year-old forward is emerging as one of the most promising prospects in European football, following a string of impressive displays for FC Nordsjaelland’s Under 19s squad.

Manchester United have been tracking the highly-rated youngster, who also represents Denmark at U19 level, for some time and are continuing to monitor his progress at Farum Park.

Liverpool are also long-term admirers but their interest has accelerated since appointing Jurgen Klopp as their new manager last month. Mor was a recurring fixture on the German’s radar during his tenure as Borussia Dortmund boss.

The Black-Yellows, however, are still keen on the Danish wonderkid – as are Eredivisie outfit Ajax. With all four clubs boasting such a strong record when it comes to nurturing young talent, Mor has a difficult choice to make.
