According to reports from The Daily Star yesterday afternoon, Manchester United could offer Adnan Januzaj in exchange for Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus next summer.
The German international boasts a formidable 37 goals and 27 assists in 82 Bundesliga appearances for the Westfalen outfit and was allegedly one of Manchester United’s top targets during the summer transfer window, whilst Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been mooted as potential suitors.
The Red Devils allowed prodigious winger Adnan Januzaj to join the Black-Yellows on a season-loan two days before the summer window slammed shut, as the Carrington outfit honed in on a £36million deal for Anthony Martial.
And according to The Star, they could include the Belgium international in a big-money bid for Reus if his temporary spell with the 2013 Champions League finalists goes well.
The British tabloid claim the 26 year-old is rated at around the £60million mark, with Januzaj’s market value representing a fraction of that sum.
According to reports from last month, however, United could face sizable competition for Reus’ signature from Barcelona – who are allegedly targeting him to fill Pedro’s void at the Nou Camp following his £22million move to Chelsea.
