Llorente

According to reports from AS today, summarised in English by the Sky Sports Transfer Centre (see 18:30) Real Madrid and Sevilla are both targeting Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.

The lofty Spain international, who measures in at a whopping 6 foot 5, has contributed 23 goals to Juve’s last two Serie A titles since joining the Turin outfit from Athletic Bilbao in summer 2013.

He looks set to leave the Old Lady this summer, however, having managed just 25 league starts last season and now entered the final two years of his contract.

Juve have already signed adequate replacements in former Atletico Madrid star Mario Mandzukic and Serie A prodigy Paulo Dybala.

Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with the 30 year-old this summer, with some reports even claiming the north London outfit have already agreed an £8.5million deal.

But according to AS, Real Madrid and Sevilla are now set to contest the Premier League duo for Llorente’s signature.

And the news will undoubtedly escalate rumours alleging Los Blancos could be about to sell their current centre-forward Karim Benzema to Arsenal.
