According to reports from The Daily Mail yesterday evening, Arsenal or Manchester United could sign PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer for a cut-price fee.

The iconic Swede boasts 106 goals in 126 appearances for the Parc de Princes outfit, firing them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

But it was revealed in June that PSG don’t intend to extend his contract past the end of next season, leading to crisis talks with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Doha and Ibrahimovic to claim his ‘future is now in the hands of agent Mino Riaola’.

Last week, Riaola confirmed that he’d been approached by Turkish outfit Galatasaray. But according to The Daily Mail, Arsenal and Manchester United could make offers for the 2013 Puskas award winner, with both clubs looking to improve their strike forces before September 1st.

The British tabloid quote an insider source as saying any fee for the 6 foot 5 striker would; “not be expensive, although everyone knows his wages are huge and there will be no re-sale value.”

The 33 year-old missed PSG’s 2-0 win over Ajaccio on Sunday with an ankle injury – raising suspicions that he could be about to leave the French champions for a Premier League club.
