According to reports from The Express this morning, prodigious forward Keita Balde Diao has handed in a transfer request at Lazio.
The 20 year-old has been on the radars of several Premier League clubs ever since his days in the Barcelona youth system, which he left in 2011 after being sent out on loan to Cornella as punishment for a ‘practical joke’ on one of his team-mates.

He joined the ranks at Stadio Olympico instead and has since emerged as one of the most exciting prospects in Serie A, last season bagging five goals in 25 top flight appearances.
But according to The Express, who cite Football Italia and Corriere dello Sport, the 5 foot 11 forward has now handed in a transfer request at Lazio after being dropped for their Italian Super Cup clash with Juventus – which ended 2-0 to the Italian champions.
They claim the news has alerted long-term admirers Arsenal and Liverpool, with the Rome outfit ready to sell for just £10.6million.
