Geoffrey Kondogbia

According to reports from The Express this morning, four top Premier League clubs are targeting prodigious Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The 22 year-old enforcer has been in fantastic form this season, averaging 3.1 tackles, 2.5 interceptions and 1.7 successful dribbles per match from his 23 Ligue 1 outings.

As This Is Futbol revealed last month, Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen on summer bids for the France international, who is rated at around £25million.

But reports this morning suggest they’re not alone in their pursuit of the former Sevilla star, who has also attracted interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United.

All four clubs are looking to add physicality to their respective midfields this summer and the tough-tackling Kondogbia, who measures in at 6 foot 2, fits the bill perfectly.

Italian media outlet Tuttomercatoweb claim Liverpool and United are the current front-runners.

But Kondogbia has recently played down the notion of a move to the Premier League this summer, as This Is Futbol revealed last month.
