According to reports from Mirror Football this afternoon, Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has once again admitted he wants to play Champions League football, amid links to Arsenal, Manchester United and PSG.

The France international has continually demonstrated his world-class shot-stopping abilities since arriving at White Hart Lane from Lyon in summer 2012, this season making the most saves, 107, of any goalkeeper in the Premier League’s top six.

That’s attracted interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and PSG – as This Is Futbol revealed earlier this month – with all three clubs on the look out for a new No.1 this summer, despite Spurs valuing their talismanic goalkeeper at a whopping £40million.

And the 28 year-old has done little to quash rumours of a summer move to a bigger club. Last week he refused to rule out joining Ligue 1 champions PSG, whilst reports from Mirror Football claim he wants to move to a club plying their trade in the Champions League.

“Dialogue and choices are important but the most important thing is to have the ability to play lots of matches in order to put in the best performance possible and continue to be selected for the national team,” said Lloris.

“I assume that the choices come naturally, so I’m staying calm and seeing how things develop.

“This is what everyone wants, and not just because it is the season of the European Championships. It is a goal and a personal ambition.

“The Champions League remains an important competition, the highest level in Europe, so obviously I want to participate and rub shoulders with the biggest European teams.

“I work towards that every day,” he added.
