According to reports from The Express this morning, in-demand Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette will assess his future with the Ligue 1 club at the end of the season.
The 23 year-old has been in sensational form to net 31 times in all competitions this year. That includes a league haul of 27 goals, which is only bettered throughout Europe’s five leading top flights by Ballon d’Or duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Resultantly, there’s been plenty of speculation regarding his future ahead of the summer transfer window. The Express list Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG and Bayern Munich as potential suitors and the newly crowned Premier League champions are reportedly planning a swap deal involving back-up striker Loic Remy, who started his career at Lyon – as This Is Futbol revealed last week.
Despite extending his contract until 2018 last September and securing Champions League football with Lyon for the 2015/16 campaign, the France international has now admitted he could move on at the end of the season.
The £25million-rated winger-come-striker has told reporters; “I am good here, but after that I need to think about my progression, the future. We will see at the end of the season.”
