It’s derby day in the Premier League – kicking off with Chelsea’s short trip to Queens Park Rangers at 1.30pm.
Few are betting against a Blues win this afternoon, extending their lead to seven points at the top of the Premier League table, but their track record at Loftus Road isn’t as formidable as you might expect. Chelsea have won just once from their last three visits and back in the 2011/12 campaign lost 1-0 via a Heider Helguson penalty, after having two players sent off.
Likewise, 18th-placed QPR need three points today arguably more than Chelsea do. After Leicester City’s win against Aston Villa yesterday, they’re now just one point off the bottom of the table and two away from safety.
So amid an ever-unpredictable derby clash, who will come out on top? Perhaps the official starting Xis, just confirmed on Twitter, can shed some light on how this one will pan out:
