According to reports from The Express this morning, PSG could revive their interest in Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria this summer.
The Argentina international came close to joining the Ligue 1 champions last summer only for Financial Fair Play regulations to effectively block the deal, paving the way for a record-breaking £60million move to Old Trafford instead.
The 27 year-old started his Red Devils career brightly and currently boasts the second-most assists of any player in the Premier League after Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas.
But Di Maria’s form has dipped in recent months and he hasn’t started a Premier League fixture since the start of March, suggesting United might be prepared to part with their club-record signing this summer.
And PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi has done little to quash rumours suggesting the Parc de Princes outfit will target the attacking midfielder yet again this summer. He recently told French newspaper Le Parisien; “You can imagine that if FFP did not exist, di Maria would be a PSG player right now.”
