According to reports from The Metro this morning, Real Madrid star Isco could be available for just £32.9million this summer.
The Spain international, who has claimed three goals and eight assists in 29 La Liga appearances this season, featured in Los Blancos’ win over rivals Atletico Madrid in yesterday evening’s Champions League quarter-final.
But the 23 year-old’s presence in the starting Xi is largely dependent upon injuries – Gareth Bale was sidelined last night for example – and according to The Metro, the European champions have now decided to cash-in.
Apparently, they’re willing to part with Isco to finance a swoop for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard – This Is Futbol reported on their rumoured interest in the Belgium international yesterday.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United were all linked to the attacking midfielder by The Express in February, after Carlo Ancelotti admitted; “I have no doubt – if Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale are fit, they will always play.”
So recent revelations that Real Madrid would sell for just £32m will be music to their ears.
