According to reports from The Express this morning, Liverpool target Memphis Depay has arrived in England for discussions over a potential move to Manchester United.
The 21 year-old has been in sensational form since his nomination for the Best Young Player award at the 2014 World Cup. His 20 league goals this term fired PSV to the Eredivisie title, and also left him at the top of the division’s scoring charts.
As This Is Futbol informed you earlier this week, both Premier League clubs have been courting the Eindhoven star, often compared to a young Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Red Devils are hoping to blow their rivals out of the water with a £135k per-week contract offer.
And it appears news of the lucrative deal has had the desired effect; according to The Express, the winger-forward has flown to England to discuss Manchester United’s offer.
He’s also held negotiations with Ligue 1 champions PSG – but unfortunately, no reports have suggested he’s engaged in talks with Liverpool.
